Sophia Burden
2024 LEAVING THE NEST SENIORS
Sophia Burden started fencing about a year and a half ago. She always wanted to fence and is so excited that she got the chance to. Fencing has brought her enormous amounts of joy and Sophia is grateful for the experience.
Other than fencing, she participates in a number of other activities like theatre, robotics, and choir. She works with a non profit in robotics bringing STEM to k-12 students in the Portland metro and West Linn area. She also served as an officer for the Oregon Thespians Organization.
She will be attending the University of Oregon in the fall to study Neuroscience with a minor in Music. She has hopes of later becoming a neurosurgeon.
