This year, we welcome Olympic champions Maxime Pauty, Koki Kana, and Masaru Yamada! These three fencers hold 7 Olympic medals, for individual and team gold medals! They’ll join NWFC’s fencing masters for a week of fun and enlightening training. Camp runs from Sunday, 8/3/2025, through Thursday, 8/7/2025, because of the guest athlete’s availability and travel schedule. Anyone who wishes to stay can participate in an additional evening of open bouting at NWFC on Friday night!

This camp is limited to 30 foil and 60 epee fencers!!

Athena Project Summer Camp:

Foil, Epee, and Saber

July 14th – 18th 

The Athena Project is an initiative created by Northwest Fencing Center designed to support women and girls in fencing. The key to this is creating women-only fencing spaces that transcend age groups. 

We will turn our 20,000-square-foot facility into a women’ s-only space for a week in July. Participants will range from experienced competitive 12-year-old intermediate fencers through accomplished 70+ veterans. The reality of a women-only fencing space will be revolutionary. It will foster a stronger multigenerational community where younger fencers can look for support and example, as well as allow older fencers to mentor.

Who:
Competitive fencers Y12 and up (adult fencers and veteran fencers are encouraged)

Schedule: 9-4 pm with a 1 hr lunch break. (3-5 will be private lessons & open bouting)
Lesson slots will be open 1 week before the start of camp. The limit is one lesson per day per coach.

Athena Summer Camp coaches

PRE NATIONALS CAMP 2025!!!

Join the crew from Northwest Fencing Center to train for Summer Nationals or just to train for yourself. Four days of high-intensity preparation to get you into the zone to do your best. Visiting fencers from other clubs are welcome! 

Daily Camp Schedule:
9:00 am – 4:00 pm Camp drill sessions with an hour lunch break
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm Private lessons and open bouting sessions

Cost: Register Early!
Early bird fee until 6/1/25, the price is $450 (NWFC members, ask the front desk for the $50 coupon code. The Coupon code applies to the early price only)
After 6/2/25, the price is $550
*NEW For single-day registrations, use the coupon code “daily” for one day of camp. Make sure to list what day(s) you will be attending. There is no club discount for single days. As you can see, it is more economical to attend the whole camp.

Join us for this 2-day Women’s only adult and veteran training camp! Positive and supportive coaches will help you focus on your strategy and goal setting. You must be over 21 to participate.

Camps at Northwest Fencing Center are designed for different age and skill groups. With options for all ages and experience levels, NWFC’s camps focus on the core foundations of fencing and immerse the fencer in a weekend of learning and experience with a variety of athletes and styles. This Adult and Vet camp is no different. We strive to provide a supportive, inspiring, and fun atmosphere to foster a love of the sport.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Come to the Northwest’s premier fencing club to learn about the Olympic Sport of fencing. These camps give young fencers a start in the sport through games and expert instruction.

Kids will learn safety rules, basic footwork, engard position, and fundamentals of the game. 

Our large gym is fully air-conditioned, with plenty of space to play, eat, learn, and make friends. Fencers from our Youth Classes are welcome to join, but no experience is necessary.

There are five camps offered: three in July and two in August. Go to the registration page and select the week you want your camper to attend. Those attending more than one week must register for each week separately. Those enrolling more than one camper can put the camp tickets in their shopping cart and pay only once.

Camp is limited to 20 students!

We are excited to announce the opening of registration for the 2024 Winter Camp! Fencers will have five full training days with guest Coach Cody Mattern and the coaching staff. NWFC has three fencing masters: head coach Simon, Coach Patricio, and Coach Ioana. Our entire coaching staff works with Global Fencing Masters for continuing education. This camp is ideal for the committed fencer with experience from our Youth Intermediate classes, Comp, CORE, Adult/Teen Epee, and Adults enrolled in open bouting. Fencers from other clubs are welcome—the more, the merrier! Winter Break is the perfect time to work on your skills in the best training facility around. Our top-notch facility and staff will ensure your experience is the best. Private lessons may be available.

9-12 pm, 1-4 pm (4-5 will be private lessons & open bouting)

• Private lesson slots will be available from 8-9 AM & after 4 PM. The limit of private lessons a fencer can take per camp is 2.
