2024 LEAVING THE NEST SENIORS

Isaac Choi began fencing at NWFC in 2017 after watching the 2016 Rio Olympics on TV. After completing the youth programs, he started competing as an epeeist and also competed in foil for one year. Over 7 years, Isaac has earned national points from the youth to the junior categories.

Outside of fencing, Isaac is active in community service and school leadership. He also was selected as one of the National Merit Scholarship Winners in Oregon. In his free time, Isaac enjoys watching soccer, going to the gym, and learning about military history.

After being accepted into the United States Military Academy at West Point, the United States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force Academy, and several other prestigious universities, Isaac ultimately decided to attend West Point where he plans to major in Life Science and join the fencing team there.

Fencing has been an integral part of Isaac’s growth as a student-athlete, and he is incredibly grateful for the coaches, staff, and fellow fencers at NWFC who have supported him in his fencing journey.
