Nikki Breiling
2026 LEAVING THE NEST SENIORS
Nikki’s love for sword fighting began early, but it became a true passion when he started fencing in November 2021. He loves competing in epee at local, regional, and national levels; and one of his proudest accomplishments was earning his A ranking in 2025, a milestone that reflected his hard work and commitment to the sport. While he thrives on competition, what he values most is the enjoyment of fencing and the friendships he has built along the way. He is especially grateful for the coaches and teammates at NWFC, whose support and guidance have made his experience so meaningful.
Beyond fencing, Nikki is a varsity XC and Track and Field athlete (which he has been doing since 3rd grade). He also enjoys traveling, juggling, coding in Minecraft, building Legos, and playing basketball —activities that reflect both his competitive drive and creative mindset. He even started a fencing club at his school. His parents’ favorite memory of him captures his spirit perfectly: riding a unicycle through the neighborhood in a Santa costume while swordfighting his brother.
This fall, Nikki will attend Stevens Institute of Technology, where he plans to study Mechanical Engineering and continue his fencing career. He looks forward to the opportunities ahead and is excited to take the next step in both academics and athletics.
