Grace Choi
2026 LEAVING THE NEST SENIORS
Grace Choi began her fencing journey alongside her older brother Isaac in 2017, shortly after watching the 2016 Rio Olympics. Throughout her time at NWFC, she stuck with épée and competed at the regional and national level.
After countless hours spent navigating convention centers and tightening tip screws, Grace is proud to have been a part of the NWFC community and is grateful for every individual who has challenged and supported her along her fencing journey, especially her coaches, clubmates, friends, and family.
Beyond fencing, Grace is passionate about advocating for student health services, climate justice, and civic engagement, serving on several state boards and lobbying for bills at the Oregon State Capitol. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, watching baseball, and listening to podcasts.
This fall, Grace will be attending Duke University, where she plans to major in Neuroscience and join Duke’s Naval ROTC battalion. Go Blue Devils!
