12th Annual Winter Foil & Epee Camp
December 27th 2011 – January 1st 2012
The camp's emphasis will be on technical and tactical awareness; each athlete will be challenged to understand and develop the elements which make their game more successful.
-Camp activities include: organized bouting, line drills, video observation and critical thinking exercises.
-Camp also includes evening activities and entry to the New Year's Open; the first chance to earn your 2012 rating!

Jacky Fallut
He is the Men's Epee coach at the Lagardere Paris Racing. Jacky also works at the Junior National Training Center in Reims and occasionally at INSEP (French National Training Center). Jacky coached Roan Gustin (2011 ME Team World Champion) until he moved to the French National Training Center this season. |

Michael Marx
Michael earned his Master of Arms degree in Poland in 1992. Michael is a five-time Olympian and the only male fencer in the last 50 years to make the U.S. Olympic team in two weapons: foil and epee. He is a five-time USOC Athlete of the year and earned a record eight U.S. national championships in foil. He has had students on four Olympic teams. He has been inducted into both the USFA and Oregon Sports Hall of fame. |

Cody Mattern
Member of the 2004 Men's Epee Olympic team, he is a six-time National Champion and a World Cup Silver and Bronze medalist. Cody is currently a member of the Army's World Class Athlete Program. He was a member of the US Team that took silver at the 2010 World Championships. |

Benoit Bouysset
Benoit is a French fencing master. He is the current coach at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. |
COST:
$600, includes camp, housing*, meals, activities and the registration fee for the New Year's Open.
*Fencers not requiring housing: cost is $500.
Top 12 Senior, top 8 Junior & top 4 Cadet on National rankings: cost is $200 to cover Room and Board and camp activities.
As part as of the Men's Epee program, there is no fee for the top 12 Senior Men's Epeeists.
A nonrefundable $50 deposit is required to register; the balance of the camp fee is due on December 27th .
HOUSING/TRAVEL:
A limited amount of housing is available with NWFC families. Housing is provided on a first-come basis, based on the date of receipt of registration form and deposit.
Home stay campers will be met at the airport or train station.
Please schedule your arrival no later than 7:00pm on Monday, December 26th , and your departure on Monday, January 2nd .
